Ok... still they have the best steaks in NW Wyoming!
Yep!
Great burgers including those with buffalo meat. Great service from staff!
We got takeout from Cassie's on July 4th! The restaurant was extremely busy but all staff were super helpful and accommodating. We had a t-bone and the Bronc - both were delicious and cooked just right. They had a great band and dancing - wish we could have stayed, but we are still social distancing. Hope we get the chance to come back!!!
Revisited after finding this place 12 years ago on a road trip....food was wonderful again and served was very friendly. We had the prime rib and filet and homemade soup was delicious. Great spot to stop after touring Yellowstone all day. Very authentic western decor adds to the ambiance!!
Great quality NY Strip, almost melts in you mouth with a lot of flavor but not much fat. Also liked the SW decor inside. Worth the stop.
First of all I am never the type to write negative reviews. However, I was visiting Cody while at Yellowstone and decided to go somewhere “nice” based on reviews and price of menu. Man was I wrong. 1. The dinning room had mouse traps out in the open.2. We waited apx. 12 mins for our waitress to even introduce her self and ask for our drinks.3. The $32 steak was not worth $32. I ordered a medium rare steak and it came out extremely rare. The steak also had 0 flavor. 4. When asking for appetizer they did not have it. When ordering a “Cassies famous top Sirloin” they did not have it. When asking for a soup or salad the waitress said sorry were all out of soup too. 5. The one star this place deserved was solely based on the bread and salad.
Food is great the staff is friendly and very helpful there is live music and so much too see
This place is the very best. I ate petite tenderloin and it melts in your mouth yummy. Excellent friendly service.
Best damn steak we ever had. Place is dark and dated. Could be cleaner. But the steak!!!
Best prime rib I ever ate! Really cool, old west vibe.
Fantastic atmosphere with even better steaks. We enjoyed the Saturday night live country band and dance floor.
Cassie's has a very good reputation. Tonight, they did not live up to the reputation. In all fairness, perhaps this was one bad night out of many good nights. However, part of a great reputation is consistency. The Tbone was fair, at best, and quite tough for a $30+ plate. The $100+ lobster tail was inedible. They did replace the lobster tail w shrimp, which was delicious. But after an hour of waiting for the lobster, it was did not compensate. The ONLY reason it wasn't one star, is because of excellent service. Not their fault the food sucked
Great atmosphere and had live music too! Cocktails and beer were great, as well as the appetizers. Great salad and dinner specials. Had a decent t-bone, not the best but it was on special so I didn't expect a 10. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you're in Cody.
Our favorite steakhouse and dance Joint in the state of Wyoming! Held our wedding reception dinner (for 107 peeps) at Cassie's this past Saturday and food was wonderful, service fantastic, and all guests had a wonderful time, dancing well into the wee hours. Could not have been a better experience for all. Many thanks to Mel and her staff!!
Good food, good service, warm & wonderful atmosphere... the entertainment was amazing! "SR class of 2020"
The staff is amazingly friendly. We came from out of state and didn't know they closed between 2pm and 4pm and walked in at 1:50pm and they gladly seated us and served us. The filet was absolutely incredible, cooked perfectly. Fries are really good! And they were nice enough to answer our touristy questions. Highly recommend this place!
Awesome prices and the best food I ate in years had Sunday brunch and Monday dinner there well worth stop.every time im in Cody
The western atmosphere was great. Trouble for individuals with disabilities. Stairs are killers. We just had coffee and sat back and listened to the live entertainment. Overall not bad.
Had a couple very good prime ribs tonight..good country ambiance and a good selection of beers
Great food and friendly staff. Highly recommend eating there one of the best meals I have had this year
Had fun meeting people and watching the fireworks. Thanks.
It was cool to eat where do many famous people have eaten. Wild Bill, Keith Urban, Elvis, The Beatles, Vince Gill and many more!!
Went on a Thursday evening without a reservation and was seated pretty quickly. The hostess was great. We ordered the buffalo medallion appetizer and were blown away. The steak came after the salad with house made blue cheese dressing, and was huge! It was cooked perfectly and tasted great.
If you don't like this place you're probably a vegetarian. If I lived in Cody I'd eat here once a week if not more. Great steaks, fair pricing, quality meat, huge portions.
We had been recommended to visit Cassie's. Live music, good beer and great food. What else is there too say!
Great food and entertainment! Has been around since 1922! Wow!
Great steak. Great atmosphere. Great experience. The band was great. Sad they shut down a couple dancing. If we take away dancing what do we have left? Humanity and love over all!
THESE ARE ROCKY MOUNTAIN OYSTERS!!!! AND DELICIOUS! This was a great time. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms. Good food! Would definitely stop again.
Great food amazing Sunday brunch with live music
Great place to eat and have a couple of drinks and relax to some music.
Menu drink prices are not listed, and with good reason. $16 for an okay Old fashioned. The cocktail was well made, but not out of this world as it should be compared to other establishment's prices in Cody. I was also overcharged for my meal. The "hangover burger" is listed as $12 plus $5 for an extra patty. My receipt showed $30 for the meal. The burger was very over cooked to the point I gave half of it to my dogs at home. My daughter's mid rare prime rib came out blue, which was rectified quickly. The service was good. We had a large party and we were well taken care of. Overall I would say skip Cassie's the bang isn't worth the buck.
Huge portions, quality food, good service. My husband and I split the Hangover Burger & it was more than enough for both of us. It came with a roll, salad, & fries as well. Place is decorated like an old salloon, which makes for a fun atmosphere.
Cassie's supper club was super good and the employees are super nice.
My wife finally got to experience R.M.O's, she loved them! This place was my first for Rocky Mountain Oysters, 28yrs ago....still amazing today! Thanks Cassies, see you next time!
Great steak and great staff. I got the bone in ribeye and a bottle of Malbec. If you like your steak medium rare ask for rare.
I had the biggest and best Ribeye ever. Tender and juicy. I could not eat it all. Awesome. Thank you.
Liked the place but steak was a little tough.
Delicious everytime I go there
Great live music! Great environment! Then there was dance lessons! And great affordable food!Make sure to try the Rocky Mountain Oysters! It’s an experience you’ll be proud to tell others you did, though I can’t promise you’ll enjoy it!! 😉
Good food. Fast service. Can get busy. Rib eye and Prime rib were very good.
We were told by some locals that this was a great place for a good steak! We wouldn't know because all we had was bread and 1 side salad. Husband ordered a ceaser salad only and I ordered the trout with a baked potato and a side salad. There was a table across from us that ordered way after us and they got their order before us. We waited for quite a while before even getting bread or my side salad. The server didn't even ask if we wanted something to drink since we had only 1 beer on the table, that we brought from the bar. She just brought a pitcher of water and set it on our table. For such a pricey place they should at least pour your water for you!We didn't wait any longer, we left enough money on the table to cover the side salad and the bread with a lot left over and walked. We will never set foot in again!
Great food great entertainment and great service!
Bartenders are friendly and fun. Great local crowd and tourists. Awesome food. Huge place. Don't miss this place.
The food was pricey, and it made me sick. Very nice people
Cassie's is the real thing! A favorite of the locals. The building started as a house of I'll repute a hundred years ago. Lots of ambience. Live band on Saturday night. Taxidermy includes a jackalope, a bobcat, moose, a buffalo...... Not to mention the great food and the generous portions!
Cassie's has great food and is great place to hang out. I keep going back when I am in town and the food is always amazing. The steaks are tender, the burgers are amazing. The appetizers can be a meal all by themselves. The people are friendly and make you feel at home.
We really enjoyed our steaks. They had live musicians.
Good was delicious! Wait time was poor-our waitress "thought we were helped" for a good 45 minutes. Although a Cody native, I'd never eaten there before-I would recommend as long as you aren't in a hurry. 😉
This place is a blast and the food is excellent best steak I have ever had! They have a great wood Dance Floor after you eat good music and a great bar. It's a one stop evening and a fun time. Not to many restaurants like this around anymore. Professional Service. It's what I imagined Jackson Hole would be like. The food is well worth the wait.
Friendly service, delicious food!!! I recommend the Prime Rib!! The cowboy serenade tops it off!! Come here for the old west saloon experience.
Definitely a must-see for tourists wanting to know about the history of Cody. However, I was unimpressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant. The service was good and food was average. My family and I enjoyed the live music.
